American Airlines does a fine job of covering the Central America and Mexico flight market, and as can be witnessed in this sale, generally does so at cheap rates (see comparable rates from Delta and United, too). Flights start at $252 round-trip, and can be purchased at these rates through July 11 for departures coming on August 15 through February 2. All travel must be complete by February 7. Central American fares are cheapest on Mondays through Thursdays. A two-night stay and Saturday-overnight stay are required.
